EK Virtual Dispatch Company is a simulated dispatch, carrier and brokerage operation. AI broker-call roleplay rehearses communication; EK Coach AI answers lesson questions. 1-on-1 coach chat is included.

Your learning path

Learn: study freight fundamentals, rates, paperwork, hours of service and cross-border operations.

Practise: apply the material through exercises, load-board searches, AI calls and virtual-company decisions.

Demonstrate: complete the required coursework and assessment for the certificate pathway. Review the separate requirements for the optional advanced simulation designation.

Compare formats, not promises

When comparing EK with LearnDispatch or Dispatcher 101, inspect each provider’s current curriculum, practical tools, support arrangements, total payable and access period. Ask to see a student-view demonstration. A lesson count or testimonial alone does not show what you will practise.

Frequently asked questions

What does self-paced mean?

You choose when to study within your purchased access period. The C$199 CAD plan gives 30 days of access, not lifetime access. Review current plans, billing and refund terms on the pricing page.

What practical work is included?

The course includes 53 hands-on exercises, load-board practice, rate calculations, carrier paperwork, AI broker-call roleplay and EK Virtual Dispatch Company. Simulator freight, companies and money are training data, not real bookings.

Do beginners need an MC number?

You do not need your own MC number to study. Use sample carrier details only in clearly labelled practice. For real freight, use the actual authorized carrier’s verified information; never invent operating authority or insurance documents.

Am I calling a real broker?

No. AI broker-call practice is a training conversation with AI, separate from simulator message threads. Voice availability can vary. EK Coach is also AI, not a human dispatcher.

How does coaching fit into the course?

1-on-1 coach chat is included. EK Coach AI is a separate assistant for lesson questions, documents and explanations; it is clearly identified as AI.

What certificates can I work toward?

The Truck Dispatcher Certificate requires course completion and passing the required assessment. The optional Advanced Practical Simulation Designation has separate simulation requirements. Neither is awarded simply for paying, and neither guarantees employment or replaces operating authority.
