What Dispatcher 101 said about us, and what's actually true
On 6 September 2026, Dispatcher 101 published an article comparing their course with EK Dispatch Academy. It said we offer "regional" modules, "group Q&A", "standard agreements" and "higher upfront tuition". They never asked us, and most of it doesn't match what's on our site.
- **Curriculum:** They said "regional / structured modules". We have **36 modules and 53 hands-on exercises** covering the USA and Canada, all listed on the [curriculum page](/curriculum).
- **Price:** They said "higher upfront tuition". We charge **C$199 for 30 days** with no long contract. See [pricing](/pricing).
- **Support:** They said "group Q&A". Students get **1-on-1 coach chat**, plus EK Coach, an AI assistant that's clearly labelled as AI.
- **Templates:** They said "standard agreements included". We have carrier packet, rate confirmation and dispatch agreement templates, plus [free downloads](/downloads) anyone can grab today.
- **Practice:** Not mentioned. We have a working [practice load board](/loadboard), **AI broker practice calls with feedback**, and a simulated virtual dispatch company.
- **Proof of skill:** Not mentioned. We have a final assessment and a certificate anyone can [verify online](/verify).
The real difference: watching vs doing
Dispatcher 101 leads with 50+ hours of video and 100+ templates. Videos and templates are useful, and we have them too. But nobody becomes a dispatcher by watching. You become one by searching loads, calling brokers, negotiating a rate and handling a truck that breaks down at 2 a.m.
That's what EK Dispatch Academy is built around: learn dispatching by doing it.
Our open challenge to Dispatcher 101
1. Show the full curriculum. Ours is public, module by module. Publish yours side by side. 2. Live practice demo. Each school records one unedited student-view session: find a load, call a broker, book it, send the paperwork. 3. Verifiable certificates. Show a real certificate anyone can check online, like ours on the [verify page](/verify). 4. Real people behind it. EK Dispatch Academy is run by EK Freight Lines Inc., an active carrier in Edmonton, Alberta, founded by Ekjot Singh. Tell students who runs your school. 5. Correct the record. Update your article with our real module count, price and support model.
Dispatcher 101, the invitation is open. Email info@ekdispatchacademy.com and we'll set it up.
